ATM News Network: Agrochemicals major Insecticides India Ltd has reported a 13 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 9.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022. A year ago, the company's net profit stood at Rs 8.25 crore.
In the third quarter of this fiscal, the company's total income increased from Rs 314.64 crore to Rs 356.90 crore, the company said. Net profit rose to Rs 92.50 crore from Rs 85.09 crore in the first nine months of the financial year 2022-23.
Total income rose to Rs 1,500.28 crore during the April-December period of this financial year. Whereas last year the same income was Rs 1,228.16 crore.
Insecticides India has started projects in India at Chopanki (Rajasthan), Samba, Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), and Dahej (Gujarat). The company manufactures products ranging from pesticides, herbicides and fungicides to plant growth regulators.
