Agri Trade Media: Agri-tech platform DeHaat has announced a strategic partnership with two global biological agri-input innovations, GBI (Global BioAg Innovations) and Aussan Laboratories. The partnership enables DeHaat to exclusively handle the distribution and sales of six unique formulations patented by GBI and Aussan Labs. Through its extensive network of 12,000 franchise centers covering 1.1 lakh villages across 12 states, DeHaat will provide last-mile access to over two million Indian farmers.
This collaboration marks DeHaat's expansion into global intellectual properties for the first time. The objective of the partnership is to empower farmers with the right products and information to combat changing climatic conditions and establish sustainable agricultural practices.
DeHaat aims to offer cutting-edge products that enhance soil health and fortify crops against the adverse effects of climate change. This partnership adds to DeHaat's existing collaborations with 250 agri companies, offering a wide range of over 3,000 agri input SKUs. The company intends to bring more global agri solutions to Indian soil and leverage its extensive network and farmer outreach.

Sandeep Jayaswal, CEO of Aussan India, emphasized their passion for removing toxic chemicals from the agriculture industry and repairing damaged farm soils. He expressed excitement about distributing Aussan Labs' flagship product, 'CropBioLife,' exclusively through DeHaat's massive network in India, offering higher returns on investment for Indian farmers in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner.
Aussan Labs' CropBioLife, certified organic in various geographies and available in 15 countries, will now be exclusively distributed in India through the DeHaat network.
DeHaat has built a network of two million transacting farmers, providing various agri offerings such as inputs, soil testing, crop advisory, financial services, and output market linkage. In response to the volatile climatic conditions affecting farmers and resulting in significant yield losses, DeHaat has integrated climate-resilient agricultural practices into its recommendation engine.
The solutions from GBI and Aussan have undergone extensive testing across DeHaat's operating geographies over the past 12 months, demonstrating income enhancement, improved soil fertility, extended crop shelf life, and enhanced plant immunity.
