ATM News Network: The officials of All India Agro Input Dealers Association (AIDA) met Union Fertilizers and Chemicals Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi to discuss various demands of fertilizer dealers. Minister Dr Mandavia assured that the problems of fertilizer traders will be solved soon. All India Agro Input Dealers Association National President Manmohan Kalantri, Secretary Arvindbhai Patel and Bharatbhai Patel of Jamnagar were present on this occasion.
Among the major issues of fertilizer dealers is to increase dealer margin on fertilizers from 6 to 8 percent, discount to dealers in case of sample failure, immediate closure of list of top 20, re-introduction of MFMS at Rs. 50 per tonne, immediate cessation of compulsory tagging of manufacturing companies,from the essential commodities Act.
Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya called Fertilizer Association of India Director General Arun Chaudhary and directed him to meet a delegation of All India Agro Input Dealers Association and try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The matter is likely to be resolved after a delegation meeting on the matter with the FAI Director General in April.
