With its global reputation for delivering top-notch tractors across the world, Mahindra is now taking centre stage once again.
The company's sturdy tractors and advanced farming equipment have consistently boosted productivity on farms worldwide. This time, Mahindra is making a splash by introducing seven new tractor models, complete with advanced features and competitive price points.
The highly anticipated launch of the groundbreaking 'Mahindra OJA' tractor took place at the prestigious 'FutureScape' event held in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa. This isn't just a stride towards international markets; Mahindra's commitment to the Indian farming landscape is further emphasized by the company's announcement to introduce seven smaller tractors at affordable prices in the near future.
Among the standout offerings, the OJA 2127 is priced at Rs. 5.64 lakh, while the OJA 3140 comes in at a compelling Rs. 7.35 lakh. The OJA series marks a significant milestone for Mahindra, underpinned by an investment of Rs. 1200 crore. This innovative project was brought to life through a collaborative effort between the engineering teams of Mahindra Research Valley in India, Mahindra AFS' research and development centre, and Japan's Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery.
A standout feature of these new models is their comprehensive four-wheel drive (4WD) capability. The OJA tractors were crafted in collaboration with the esteemed Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery from Japan.
This versatile series encompasses three variants: subcompact, compact, and small utility tractors. Catering to the diverse needs of Indian agriculture, Mahindra has introduced an impressive lineup of seven models under the OJA range, offering power outputs ranging from 20bhp to 40bhp.
Boasting an investment of approximately Rs. 1,200 crore, Mahindra has reinforced its commitment to innovation and advancement within the Oja range. The Mahindra OJA 27 HP Tractor is set at an enticing price of Rs. 5.64 lakh, while the OJA 40 HP Tractor comes in at Rs. 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom prices). Embarking on an exciting journey in India, the Oja series is poised to expand its footprint, both in established and new markets.
Aligned with its strategic vision of doubling tractor exports in the next three years, Mahindra & Mahindra's latest launch is set to redefine farming practices globally. With its esteemed status as the world's largest tractor manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra exported around 1000 tractors in the previous financial year.
