First Indian company to get registration for manufacturing the Technical Herbicide
ATM News Network: Best Agrolife Limited, a leading Indian agrochemical company, has been granted registration by the Central Pesticides Board and Registration Committee for the indigenous production of herbicide propaquizafop. Hence, Best Agrolife Limited has become the first Indian agrochemical company to manufacture Propaquizafop Technical.
c is an herbicide. It is used for the control of annual and perennial weeds in broad-leaf crops such as soybean, cotton, pulses, sunflower, other field crops, vegetables, fruit trees, grapes, sugarcane, and oilseeds. It controls weeds at all stages of their development. Environmentally friendly and safe for beneficial insects and mammals, propaquizafop is rapidly absorbed by leaves.
BAL has maintained a streak of innovation and progress this year, all thanks to its focus on research and development. Apart from propaquizafop, five new products have been developed by BAL namely Technical, Axman, Ronfen, Reval Tombo and Warden BAL. Moreover, BAL has become the first Indian agrochemical company to manufacture indigenous drugs in the pharmaceutical industry with the launch of Citizen and Vistara. The company also received patents for the first fungicide formulations of cyzofamid, dimethomorph and difenoconazole, informed BAL Managing Director Vimal Alawdhi.
