ATM News Network: In the latest update from Maharashtra government, it will provide day-time electricity for agriculture soon with ‘Solarisation’ of agriculture. At present the state is providing 8,000 MW electricity for agriculture. To solve the issue of agriculture and to make available the electricity for agriculture in day-time solar power will be increased.
In the next two to three years, there will be an effort to provide at least 4,000 megawatts of electricity through 'solar'. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that all the collectors and revenue agencies of the state have been informed about providing land for this purpose.
Minister Fadnavis also clarified that a plan is being made to provide all the revenue documents on one application. He was speaking at the two-day revenue conference at Loni (Rahata). It was concluded on Thursday in the presence of minister Fadnavis.
Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil along with officials of revenue department across the state, Collectors were present on this occasion.
Fadnavis said, the Revenue Council will speed up the work of the Revenue Department. A good 'road model' will be created. The government will make special efforts to use one application to get the documents from the revenue department and provide them to the people in a transparent manner, create a well-transparent system regarding sand, how to reduce the inconvenience to the people regarding non-agricultural (NA).
We are also starting the ambitious scheme Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan 2.0, which has received a huge response from the people in the state. The government is planning how to provide houses to maximum number of people through Awas Yojana.
This two day conference will give more momentum to the revenue department and it will do good work for farmers and citizens.
