ATM News Network: Like sugar, the central government should decide long-term policy for the export of onion from Maharashtra. Kuber Jadhav, Liaison Head of Maharashtra State Onion Producers Farmers Association, has appealed that steps should be taken to export at least 30 to 35 lakh tonnes of onion from Kharif and Rabi Seasons every year.
The state executives meeting of Swabhimani Shetkar Sangathan was held recently at Paithan under the leadership of MP Raju Shetty. At that time, Kuber Jadhav gave guidance on the production of onion and the price of onion.
