Well equipped laboratory for new formulation in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
ATM News Network: Astec Life Sciences Limited, a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL), has launched a new advanced research and development centre at Rabale in Navi Mumbai.
This centre has been named 'Adi Godrej Centre for Chemical Research and Development'. The centre will focus on new experiments, sustainable development for the environment and developing safe solutions. It will also focus on providing services to innovative companies in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs).
The state-of-the-art research and development centre is equipped with a synthesis laboratory and a formulation laboratory for developing new formulations in the field of crop protection. The centre also has advanced analytical instruments, and state-of-the-art process safety infrastructure for safe and sustainable chemical reactions.
The new research and development centre will enable the company to develop a new range of sustainable products faster and on a larger scale. The centre will also work towards adding value to the customer's business without compromising ethics, safety and environmental concerns.
After inaugurating the centre, GAVL Chairman Nadir Godrej said, Astec Life Sciences Limited is an important milestone in our efforts to tap into the immense potential of the chemical industry with the unveiling of the R&D Centre at Rabale. GAVL Managing Director Balram Singh Yadav, and Astec Life Sciences Limited CEO Anurag Roy were present on this occasion.
