The investor and brand ambassador of the Garuda Aerospace Indian cricketing star Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has launched a consumer camera drone named 'Droni'. The new 'Kisan Drone' that is aimed at the agriculture sector, particularly in spraying applications was also launched during the event. This battery-powered drone is capable of carrying out agricultural pesticide spraying over a land area of 30 acres per day. The made-in-India camera drone with advanced features is capable of pesticide spraying and will help agriculture sector and farmers in particular.
The company, Garuda Aerospace has already made its name by offering drone solutions for agricultural pesticide spraying, solar panel cleaning, industrial pipeline inspections, mapping, surveying, public announcements, and delivery. The new drone named after the cricketer is a consumer drone and will be capable of multiple jobs. According to the company's founder and CEO, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, the product will be available in the market by the end of 2022.
