Many key provisions for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in the budget, says Minister Tomar
ATM News Network: The Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has lauded the budget. He said that many key provisions have been made for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare in the Budget for the Financial Year 2023-24. Expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Minister said that the budget aims at inclusive and comprehensive development of farmers, besides the poor and middle class, women and the youth.
Minister Tomar said the small farmers will benefit from the budget, whereas, according to the vision of Prime Minister Modi, the budget lays emphasis on promoting the modernisation of Agriculture sector by linking Agriculture with technology so that farmers get comprehensive benefits in the long run.

- *Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries, the agricultural loan target Rs 20 lakh crore.
- *Provision for the Digital Agriculture Mission - Rs 450 crore
- * Provision promotion of Agriculture sector through technology - Rs 600 crore
- *Provision for Natural Farming mass movement- Rs 459 crore
- *Organising Small and Medium Farmers through FPOs, 10,000 new FPOs will be constituted- Rs 955 crore
