Women cultivate these fields as unpaid labour. They are cultivators but not land owners. They form the bulk of the bottommost pyramid of the agricultural structure, but are denied the opportunity to assume a decision-making role. Women plant, grow, harvest, process and sell food. But still around the world, they are held back by discriminatory social norms and barriers to knowledge, ownership, assets, resources and social networks.
Their contribution is not recognized, their role is marginalized and their role in the entire chain of agri-food system is denied. She said that this thing needs to be changed
