ATM News Network: Liquid Urea is essential for soil conservation in our country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made land conservation a priority issue. Also, whether it is natural farming, organic farming or speeding up the process of nano urea research to production, the Prime Minister has given priority to this topic.
With the setting up of the unit at Deoghar, it will produce around 6 crore bottles of liquid urea every year. Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah asserted that this will reduce India's dependence on imported urea and make it self-sufficient. He was speaking on the occasion of foundation stone laying of fifth unit of IFFCO Nano Urea plant at Deoghar in Jharkhand.
He said that a small half-liter bottle of liquid urea would be an alternative to a whole container of urea fertilizer. In many places in the country, farmers spray both urea fertilizer and liquid urea causing damage to both crops and land. Crop yield is likely to increase after spraying liquid urea.
He said that research work was undertaken to develop nano liquid urea for soil conservation. Earthworms in the soil naturally produce fertilizers, but the use of chemical fertilizers kills earthworms. Spraying of liquid urea does not poison the soil.
If the use of chemical and urea fertilizers in the agricultural sector of our country is not stopped, the productivity of the land in our country like many other countries of the world will be adversely affected. IFFCO, a farmers' cooperative company, has produced liquid nano urea for the first time in the world. Now this company has shifted to production of DAP that is di-ammonium phosphate, Union Minister Amit Shah said.
