Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Food Processing, registrations started
ATM News Network: In a joint effort, the National Institute for Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises (Ni-MSME) and the National Institute for Agriculture Extension Management (MANAGE) have announced an upcoming Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Food Processing. The program, set to take place from July 25th to July 27th, 2023, will be conducted online, offering convenience and accessibility to participants.
Designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and enhance the knowledge of those already in the food processing industry, this collaborative initiative aims to provide comprehensive training and foster an entrepreneurial spirit. Participants from various backgrounds, including individuals interested in starting their own food processing business, food processing entrepreneurs, professionals in the industry, and researchers, are all encouraged to attend.
The programme will cover essential topics such as identifying food processing opportunities, understanding MSME schemes and government initiatives, ensuring food safety and adhering to standards, navigating legal compliances specific to the food processing industry, effective marketing and branding strategies for food processing MSMEs, developing food processing clusters, and safeguarding innovative food products through intellectual property rights (IPR).
